PETTIT TUFF COAT is a state of the art, single component, flexible, water-based product created through a unique process of cross-linking urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers and recycled rubber granules to create a long-lasting non-skid coating. This product is designed to provide an attractive, highly durable, impact-resistant, non-slip surface for boats, yachts, decks and docks. This product can be used in areas of full submersion should an application be desired. Pettit Tuff Coat is the perfect medium texture solution for high traffic areas where safety is a high priority, and it’s powerful UV filters allow the coating to be used in direct or indirect sunlight without the coating fading, peeling or breaking down.
Pettit Tuff Coat’s flexible finish dries to 30-35 mils of thickness creating a finish that hides significant imperfections on all surfaces as well as improves existing non-skid finishes from boat manufacturers. This product is low odor and must be applied with a Tuff Coat textured roller or low-pressure hopper spray gun.
